Discussion on Concordia University

Concordia University is located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1974. The university prides itself over being the next-generation university as it constantly works towards providing students with the right balance between current learning opportunities and preparing them for the challenges of tomorrow. The university’s emphasis is on taking up transformation projects that revolve around the latest innovations in technology and how these can be made accessible to students. It also focuses on creating indigenous spaces for students to exchange research ideas.

It hosts seminars and offers an array of non-credit courses which cater to students’ interests outside of the academic curriculum. It has four academic units, namely Faculty of Art and Science, Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science, Faculty of Fine Arts, and the John Molson School of Business. The university has two campuses, namely: Sir George Williams Campus and Loyola Campus.

The university offers 45 major and minor degrees in the fields of Arts, Science and Management, two after-degree programs, three master’s degrees, and several graduate certificates and diplomas.
