I’m a second-year MS CS student here (did my BTech in India too), so can give you the deets.

Curriculum: It’s a solid mix, leaning a bit practical. You’ve got your core theory (algorithms, OS) but also get to choose some cool electives like ML, Data Viz, and Cybersecurity. The projects are where you actually learn stuff.

Internships: The career fair is decent. You gotta hustle a bit on your own on LinkedIn, but companies like IBM, Dell, Oracle, and a bunch of Austin startups recruit here. The career center helps with resume reviews, which is clutch.

Culture: It’s super chill, man. Not toxic or super competitive like some unis. People are helpful. And the campus is beautiful! The river runs through it!
