Which high school exams are tougher — US or UK?

by mayank_mohan_roy

Hey, just wondering… are the exams in high school harder in the UK or the US? Like genuinely curious, cuz I’m checking exam dates abroad n planning next steps… so trying to understand the vibe. Anyone who’s been through it or knows ppl, would love your take!

UK exams are brutal fr. Like A-levels?? they go deep into subjects n it’s a lot of theory. Way more pressure on final exams too, unlike US where you can have GPA n stuff to balance.

Yeah man i’ve got cousins in both places n they said in US, ur overall performance matters more (like assignments, quizzes, class participation etc). but UK it’s mostly final exams deciding ur future. high risk high stress

Personally I feel US system is more chill but u gotta keep grinding all year. UK feels like u train for a boss level exam at the end. different kind of stress tbh.

Depends what you find harder… US has more coursework n tests throughout, UK is more focused but intense at the end. i prefer the US way, less pressure in one shot.
