Hey everyone! I’m looking at different universities and wondering—what are the most valuable degrees at the University of Connecticut? I’m really into tech and data science, so stuff like Business Analytics and Project Management caught my eye. Also, how does it compare to similar programs, like the one at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia? Would love to hear from people who know more! 
Ohh good question! UConn has a solid MS in Business Analytics and Project Management (BAPM) program. It’s got a good rep for data science-related careers. The industry connections are strong, and a lot of grads end up in tech & finance roles.
Yeah, I’ve heard their BAPM program is one of the best in the US for analytics! The job placements are pretty strong. But if you’re looking globally, Macquarie’s analytics program in Australia is also well respected. Their industry ties in Sydney are

I’d say UConn’s business school degrees are some of the best in terms of ROI (return on investment). If you’re into data science, you might also want to check out their MS in Data Science and related programs. The STEM designation helps for job opportunities.
Tbh, it depends on where you wanna work later. UConn = strong for US jobs, Macquarie = great for Australia/Asia-Pacific. If your goal is to stay in the US, I’d lean toward UConn, but if you’re open to Australia, Macquarie has a great analytics scene too.
