How do I improve my GMAT score?

by Dubeyy2423

I’ve consistently excelled academically, but GMAT preparation has been challenging. My scores have fluctuated significantly (initial mocks 595-645, official score 615, recent mocks 755 and then 595). I’m struggling with Verbal and DI consistency. Should I reconsider my GMAT approach or explore alternative options?

Score fluctuations are common. Have you analyzed your mock exams to pinpoint your weaknesses? Are you consistently reviewing your mistakes and adjusting your study strategy accordingly?

Also, it’s important to maintain a consistent study schedule and avoid burnout. Take a short break, maybe a week or two, to recharge. Then, go back to the basics. Review fundamental concepts in Verbal and Data Sufficiency. Maybe try a different study approach or consider a GMAT prep course for personalized guidance.

Hey @Dubeyy2423

Remember, the GMAT is just one part of the application. Focus on building a strong overall profile. Highlight your academic achievements, work experience, and extracurricular activities. These factors will also play a significant role in your admissions decisions. Have you started working on your essays and letters of recommendation?
