Hi @Divyang_Kaklotar. Welcome to the GD Connect Community!
Thanks for your question. In most countries, including the US, UK, Canada, and European nations, a bachelor’s degree is typically required before applying to a master’s program. Admission to a master’s degree program immediately after completing 12th grade is not generally possible.
That said, your strong experience in business management is valuable and could help you in a few ways:
Some universities offer pathway or foundation programs that bridge the gap from high school to a master’s.
In certain countries (like France or Germany), there are integrated or long-cycle master’s programs that begin after high school. Still, these are structured differently and are not common in English-speaking countries.
Alternatively, you might consider bachelor’s programs with credit for experience or accelerated formats, especially in the UK or online universities.
If you’re open to starting with a bachelor’s or a diploma, your professional background can strengthen your application. Please let me know which country you’re targeting, and I can provide further guidance.

Great — thanks! Since you’re interested in an MBA in the UK, here’s a tailored breakdown of your chances and what steps you need to take:
Goal: Apply for an MBA in the UK in 2026
Background:
Completed 12th in 2021
Will have 5 years of work experience by 2026
No bachelor’s degree
GOOD NEWS:
You may be eligible for an MBA in the UK without a bachelor’s degree, if your work experience is strong, relevant, and well-documented.
Why MBA Is Different:
Unlike most master’s degrees, many MBA programs focus more on professional experience than formal education. Some universities accept mature applicants (like you) based on experience alone.
What You Need to Strengthen Your MBA Application:
Requirement Details
Work Experience At least 3–5 years in business, management, sales, operations, marketing, HR, IT, finance, etc.
Certifications (optional but helpful) Business/management-related (e.g., digital marketing, HR, finance, PMP, etc.)
Strong CV/Resume List all roles, achievements, leadership, teamwork, decision-making, etc.
Personal Statement Why MBA? Why now? How will it help you grow? What makes you a strong candidate without a degree?
References Ideally 1–2 professional references from your employer or supervisor.
IELTS/English Test You’ll likely need to score 6.0–6.5+ depending on the university.
UK Universities That May Accept You for MBA Without a Bachelor’s:
These universities explicitly state they accept work experience in place of a degree for MBA or Executive MBA:
University Notes
University of Cumbria (via Robert Kennedy College) 100% online, flexible, accepts mature students without bachelor’s
Arden University Accepts work experience for MBA; online or on-campus
University of Bolton Offers MBA to experienced professionals without a degree
University of Sunderland May consider strong applicants without degree for MBA (check with admissions)
University of Essex Online Work experience can substitute a bachelor’s for their online MBA
Open University UK Offers flexible MBA programs for mature learners
What You Can Do Now (2024–2026):
Step 1: Gain strong, relevant work experience
Make sure your job involves:
Leadership or supervisory duties
Business operations
Problem-solving
Managing teams, clients, or budgets
Step 2: Take relevant short courses or certifications
Examples: Google Digital Marketing, HubSpot Marketing, Project Management, Finance basics, etc.
Step 3: Prepare your CV, Statement, and get references
Start building a solid personal statement explaining your journey and goals.
Step 4: Take IELTS or another English proficiency test
Aim for IELTS 6.5 (some accept 6.0)
Final Answer:
Yes, you can apply for an MBA in the UK in 2026 without a bachelor’s degree — if you have 5+ years of relevant work experience and can provide a strong application.
