How to properly address about low CGPA in SOP?

As a student with a lower GPA, how can I effectively address this in my statement of purpose for universities abroad?

Okay, the first thing is, don’t ignore it. You have to acknowledge it. But don’t dwell on it. Frame it as something you’ve learned from.

Exactly. And give context! Was there a specific reason your GPA was lower? Maybe you had personal challenges, or you were working part-time. Don’t make excuses, but explain the circumstances briefly.
