Why do Indian students consider pursuing higher studies in USA (considering the end goal is to get a job there and settle) when it is a known that h1b visas is a lottery system in which one needs to be lucky not just once but 3 times over a decade (correct me if I’m wrong but the question is still remains the same) Additionally one requires more than a lifetime to get a green card and the entire life in terms of career is dependant on so many variables which are out of control which may lead to being thrown out of the country for no good reason. What is the thought process that goes behind this decision? I am not knowledgable about this. Please enlighten me.
My observation is that students who completed bachelors in India and did not get a job due to heavy competition come to the UsA. I have seen a large chunk of students who have no idea about basics of programming after completing their bachelors and also after completing their Masters here.
If you could manage to SHOW that you have funds to pursue Masters, there are several ways to get a job here.
Yeah, that’s something I’ve noticed too. They go there without really being solid on the basic, I just do not know how they manage to show funds\
