Which university is better for Data Science – UBC or SFU?

Trying to decide between University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University for a Data Science degree. Which one’s better in terms of learning experience, campus life, and job opportunities after graduation? Any insights from students or grads would really help!

UBC has the edge when it comes to global reputation and research facilities. If you’re looking at long-term goals like grad school or working internationally, the UBC name does carry a lot of weight. That said, SFU is solid too, especially for tech-related stuff—it’s got good ties with the local industry.
