What should I pack for studying abroad?

Hey guys, I’m moving abroad for my studies soon, and I have no clue what all I need to carry. I don’t wanna overpack, but also don’t wanna miss anything important. What are the must-have things to carry while travelling abroad from India? Help a clueless soul out!

Haha, been there! First thing—don’t go overboard with clothes. You’ll buy stuff there anyway. Just pack essentials, weather-appropriate outfits, and comfy shoes. Also, get a few Indian snacks. Trust me, you’ll crave them!

Adding to that—don’t forget important docs! Passport, visa copies, admission letter, medical records, and extra passport-size photos (you’ll need them for random things). Oh, and carry some forex in cash before you get a local bank account.

Medicine kit! Carry basic meds for fever, cold, acidity, and any prescribed meds—you might not find the same brands there. And universal adapter! Your chargers won’t work without it.

Pressure cooker. Joking. But not really. If you’re into home-cooked food, basic masalas and a small pressure cooker will save you. Also, get a good backpack for daily use. And yes, please leave the giant suitcases at home—travel light!
