Columbia University emailed me saying they didn’t receive my recommendation letters, even though my teachers submitted them via Common App. The ED deadline is past. What should I do immediately? Has anyone faced such an issue?
This has to be some kind of glitch. First things first, did your teachers get any confirmation emails from Common App when they submitted the letters?
I’m not sure. I’ll have to ask them. But even if they did, what good will that do now? The deadline is past!
It’s still important to have proof that they were sent. Second, go to your Common App account and check the “Recommendations and FERPA” section. See if the letters are marked as “Submitted.”
