Hey guys, I’m planning to study in Australia after 12th, and I’ve been looking at English tests. I know IELTS is common, but I want to take PTE instead. Can anyone tell me how much PTE score required for Australia student visa? Like, is there a minimum, and does it depend on the university? 
Yeah bro, it totally depends on the uni, but for the student visa itself, I think you need at least 50 overall in PTE. Some unis want higher tho.
Yup, 50 is like the bare minimum for a visa, but a lot of good universities ask for 58-65 or even more, especially for competitive courses.
Exactly! I was looking at some IT and engineering programs, and most need at least 58 in PTE. Some even ask for 65+ in each section

If your score is lower than 50, you might have to take extra English courses before starting your degree. Some unis offer that option!
