What changed in the speaking part of PTE Academic? I’ve been checking out practice material and some people are saying the new version’s diff from the older one 
what exactly’s changed?
They made it shorter overall. Earlier the speaking section used to take around 30-35 mins, now it’s like 25 max. They removed some question types too… no more “describe image” i think, which honestly is a relief 
True and the “answer short question” section got trimmed down too. Earlier you had like 10-12 of those rapid fire types, now it’s around 5. Makes the whole flow smoother but also less time to prove yourself I guess? By the way, If anyone applying to Germany, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences ranking isn’t bad at all for engineering & tech.
