Hi! I’m trying to understand what kind of MS master’s degrees are there at Northeastern University? Are they all just computer science or is there more variety? Anyone know what options are there or where to even look?
There’s definitely more than just CS. Northeastern University degrees cover a LOT like data science, engineering management, bioinformatics, cybersecurity, robotics etc. They also got unique courses like experiential AI & info design. They’re real big on co-ops too.
hey @ElegantNarwhal9 Northeastern’s got way more than just CS. They’ve got MS programs in data analytics, engineering, biotechnology, project management, finance, cybersecurity, public health, even things like game science. You can check all of them on their grad programs page they list them by college so it’s easy to see what fits. If you’re not sure, just search “Northeastern University Graduate Programs” and it’ll take you right to the official list.
@ElegantNarwhal9 Yeah, Northeastern’s not just about CS they’ve got solid programs in data science, cybersecurity, robotics, engineering management, and even niche ones like experiential AI. What makes them stand out is the co-op culture, so you actually work while you study. Personally, I’ve got offers from Northeastern Toronto (Info Systems) and Vancouver (MPS Analytics). Toronto’s great for tech jobs and IS roles, while Vancouver is really picking up in analytics and AI. Plus, being in Canada means easier co-op chances and a clear PR pathway after.
