I have a BE in Computer Science and am targeting top-tier universities in the US for my MS-CS. What GRE score should I aim for to increase my scholarship chances? Are there any specific universities with a strong track record of awarding scholarships to Indian students?
It will depend on the university you want to get into. The higher the ranking of the university, the more the GRE score will be the expectations. They are available in Google Search or other University listing platforms.
GRE is taken for 340 marks. 320 is considered a good score, and there is a good chance you can get into top universities with it. Even higher gives you a chance to get into more top level universities.
Scoring less than 310/305 might not help you get into great universities.
However, GRE is waived off by most of the universities, they consider IELTS, SOP and other documents.
