@Shiva

There are multiple factors which determine one’s decision.

Your expectations and outcomes from the course, 2 years of your time, career progress and money investment. With my career aspirations and course curriculum along with more open opportunities of GA/TA/RA, MIM was best suiting my needs and hence with my further planning with my career, I took up MIM.

No decision is bad, just try to asses both the fronts and make the choice best suits you. Since I am from MIM, I would recommend MIM, however, connect with more people as I said before making any decision.

Thanks.

Hi @Ramesh,

Please refer one my above responses. I shared an elaborative answer in regard of internships alone at UMD which I am aware about as well as in comparison. Though UIUC has larger career fair and companies visiting, but be mindful that those specifically come for the much in demand of it’s CS course.

Both the places you shall have to out in extra efforts to get a desired internship.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks
