Want to work, study, or travel in the UK? The 2025 UK-India Young Professionals Scheme (YPS) is your chance! With 3,000 spots available, selected applicants can live in the UK for up to two years and gain valuable global experience. Eligibility
- Age: 18-30 years
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Savings: £2,530 (~₹2.7 lakh) maintained for at least 28 days
- No dependents: Cannot bring children or family members
You cannot apply if:
- You have dependents under 18
- You don’t meet the savings requirement
Applicants will also need to provide the following:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Passport details
- A scan or photo of your passport
- Phone number
- Email address
Ballot Details
- The ballot will be open from February 18 to February 20, 2025, at 2:30 PM IST on gov.uk.
- Entry is free.
- 3,000 spots are available.
- The concerned authorities will pick the successful candidates randomly.
Application Process
Submit your details during the ballot entry period. If selected, you will be notified via email within two weeks and must apply for a visa within 90 days. You must provide biometrics and pay IHS (£1,552) and visa-related fees (£298). Demonstrate your required savings, which you must maintain for at least 28 consecutive days before applying.
Note: Per the scheme’s rules, applicants must return to India after two years in the UK.
