Yeah, I actually just wrapped up my first year in the MIS program at UTA. It’s pretty solid, especially if you’re into the tech+business combo. Professors are chill and approachable, and a lot of them have industry experience. There’s also a ton of group projects which really helps build team skills.
Same here, I’m in my third year now. One thing I like is how flexible the course is—you can lean more into data analytics or go the IT management route depending on what you like. Internship-wise, the school has a decent career center, but honestly, you’ll need to hustle a bit on LinkedIn too. That’s how I landed mine last summer.
