Welcome to Murray State University, home to one of the most heartwarming and quirky college traditions in the U.S, The Shoe Tree.

For over 60 years, couples who met and fell in love on this campus have marked their story by nailing a pair of old shoes to a tree. They write their names, their anniversary date, and leave their love story hanging—literally. Some even return years later with a baby shoe to mark the next chapter in their journey together. :baby_bottle::heart:
