These scholarships are funded by the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS) and aim to foster international academic exchange and research collaboration.

  • Universities of applied sciences

  • ETH domain research institutes: PSI, WSL, Empa, Eawag

Scholarship Types & Funding

  • Research, PhD, and Art Scholarships: CHF 1,920/month (~₹2 lakh)
  • Postdoctoral Scholarships: CHF 3,500/month (~₹3.7 lakh)
  • Covers basic living expenses for one person
