Hey everyone! I’m looking to study abroad after school and was wondering what some of the best programs are for Indian students. There are so many options and it’s a bit overwhelming. Would love to hear what’s actually worth checking out and any advice you’ve got from your own experience!
Yeah, totally get what you’re saying—it can get confusing with all the info out there. If you’re aiming for undergrad, I’d say look into the US and UK first. The US has some great universities with flexible course structures (like you can explore a bit before locking in your major), and the UK is great if you’re clear about what you want to study—it’s more focused. Check out UCAS for UK applications and Common App for the US.
Adding to that—if you’re considering budget + quality, Germany and Canada are solid options too. Germany has almost zero tuition fees for public unis and a bunch of them teach in English. Canada is pretty student-friendly, and a lot of students end up staying back with PR options. Look into programs like DAAD (for Germany) and SDS (for Canada). They both have good support for Indian students.
Also depends on what you’re planning to study. Like for STEM stuff, the US is hard to beat because of research opportunities and all. But if you’re more into design, arts, or even business, some schools in Europe (like Netherlands, Italy) are underrated but really good. A friend of mine is in Milan doing fashion and absolutely loves it there. Point is—try matching programs with what you want out of the whole experience.
