Should i do MIM from a top UK college or MBA from tier 2 college in India?

I’m a B.Com student at Delhi University with a CGPA of 7.01 in my first year, graduating in June 2025. I’m trying to decide between pursuing an MBA or a Master in Management (MiM).

I recently gave CAT exam but didn’t score too well and most MBA programs require work experience, which I won’t have immediately after graduation. I’d prefer to start my master’s degree directly after my undergraduate studies.

Because of these challenges, I’m leaning towards a MiM from a prestigious university like LBS, LSE, or Imperial. A MiM doesn’t require work experience and would provide a strong management foundation. However, I’m still unsure if a MiM is the best choice compared to the long-term value of an MBA.

Has anyone else faced this dilemma? I’d really appreciate any advice or insights you can offer.

I get it. That’s a common problem. Lots of people want to jump straight into a master’s. So you’re thinking MiM because it doesn’t require work experience, right?

Exactly. I’m looking at top schools like LBS, LSE, and Imperial for their MiM programs. They seem like a good option since I want to start my master’s immediately. But I keep hearing that an MBA is generally more valuable in the long run, and I’m not sure if the MiM will hold the same weight.
