I’m currently in the 11th grade and have about two months left before I enter the 12th grade. I’m interested in applying to universities in the USA, potentially Ivy League schools.
My current extracurricular activities include: 10-15 blog posts, few online internships, volunteering at an NGO and a couple of online finance courses.
Could anyone please provide feedback on these extracurricular activities and suggest any other impactful activities I could pursue to strengthen my college applications?
Hey @ShashankGamer21
You have got a good start. However, if you are targeting Ivy League schools, you’ll need to demonstrate a deeper level of commitment and impact. You can enhance your profile by aiming for leadership positions in clubs, student government, or your volunteering organization and if you enjoy sports then consider joining a school team or pursuing a sport outside of school at a competitive level. Hope this will help you to strengthen your applications.
Having a strong personal brand whether that is on Instagram or LinkedIn can help. Besides that, you should focus on having a startup or non-profit alongside research papers is important. Happy to hop on a call and talk this through. I help people pro-bono in this.
