Hey everyone, I’ll be starting at UT Arlington soon and I’m curious about how accessible professors are outside of class. Can anyone share their experiences with getting academic support or mentorship from faculty? Do they make themselves available for questions and guidance outside of lecture hours?
Hey, Yes, they do have off-class lecture hours, and most of the professors I was in class with are accessible and reply to our mails. There will also be work hours where you can go to their office.
Starting of the class, they will give all of the info, and they will also ask you to maintain contact with TAs primarily, for any academic doubts or guidance.
