Hi everyone, I’m looking at MS in Business Analytics programs at UT Dallas, Oklahoma State, and Northeastern. My primary goal is to work in the US after graduation. Any advice on which program is best, considering factors like curriculum, career opportunities, and overall student experience?
Landing a US job after graduation is definitely top of mind for a lot of international students. All three schools you mentioned have their strengths, but they cater to slightly different needs. UT Dallas, for example, is known for its strong connections to the tech industry in the Dallas area. They have a large alumni network in those companies.
I’ve heard UT Dallas is a good option if you’re aiming for a more technical, data-science focused role. Their curriculum is supposedly quite rigorous, and they have a lot of electives in areas like machine learning and big data. But I’ve also heard that the cost of living in Dallas can be a bit higher than some other places.
Cost of living is definitely a factor. What about Oklahoma State? I haven’t heard as much about their program, but I’ve read that it’s more affordable.
