Personally, I would not recommend to invest USD 50 K in such low reputation college, when the Donald Trump Administration is against jobs for outsiders.

What do you mean by career prospects? What does he want to become? Does he want to work in an IT company, become a CS professor or have his own start-up??

I am not an expert in CS or in CS related colleges, but from what I know, Pace University is ranked ~180 in national universities in the US. That is not a very good rank. And personally, I don’t think spending money on it is worth it. Having qualifications does not matter in huge IT companies. They are just looking for people who are good at what they do. Most of them don’t even have a educational requirement (From what I have heard).

In my opinion, working in an above average IT company for 2 years would be more beneficial for career prospects than spending 2 years getting an MS at Pace and spending a lot of money on it
