I have applied for the MPS in applied machine intelligence of northeastern university, Boston campus. I have scored 6.5 band in IELTS i have heard to get eligible for internships and co-op there is need of IELTS band of 7 and above . Is it true?

Hi @Tina_Pawar While an IELTS band of 7 & above would definitely increase your scope of internships as well as scholarships, a score of 6.5 is not necessarily bad.
If you can show extra curriculum activities on your resume or your passion towards AI/ML through some projects that would definitely make up for a low IELTS score.
Further, your networking plays the biggest role in landing good internship opportunities and if you can network well then IELTS score should not matter much as far as Internships are concerned.
