What is the average cost of doing MBA here in india vs MBA in UK or Australia? Which one should I go for?
I myself is targeting the US for my studies, and my cousin, who’s already there, has been telling me about the curriculum, job market, and all that. While the fees in the US are a bit higher compared to Australia, the last time I checked, I really like the academic structure in the US. Plus, there are university-specific financial aids and scholarships that could help too
@Bhatt_Ji Depends which colleges you are targeting in India.
For Tier 1 colleges like older IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore & Calcutta), the tuition fees of a 2 year MBA program can go up to INR26 lakhs. You can add another 5-10 lakhs for expenses like boarding/lodging, food, travel, study material and entertainment. Though this would depend upon the kind of lifestyle you would like to maintain.
For tier 2 & 3 colleges, the tuition fees for a similar 2 year program would be up to 15-20 lakhs.
While, the tuition fees & other expenses would of course be higher for MBA done in US/ Australian as compared to MBA from India, the average package you can get in USA/ Aus would also be higher as compared to India.
However, a foreign MBA provides a few things that an Indian MBA can’t provide like diverse cultural experience and you need to decide which factor is most important to you.
