Guys, anyone knows what different types of MBA courses you can do at University of Victoria in Canada? I am confused cuz there are so many options online, can’t really figure out what’s legit and what isn’t.
Hey! @1998kiara
So, I totally get the confusion even I felt the same when I started looking into UVic’s MBA options because there are so many pages online with half info.
UVic mainly offers two solid business-related master’s programs. First, there’s the MBA in Sustainable Innovation this one’s for working professionals and runs part-time over 2 years. It’s super focused on sustainability and ethics, so if you’re into green business and responsible leadership, this is a great pick. You also get the option to do a co-op (which is really helpful for Canadian work experience).
Then there’s the Master of Global Business (MGB) — this is a full-time program that lets you study and intern in up to 3 countries. It’s intense but really unique if you’re aiming for an international career. A lot of people go for this one if they want global exposure.
And just FYI — UVic’s business school has strong global recognition (AACSB and EQUIS accreditations), so whichever program you choose, it holds value.
Hope you got the required info, Please feel free to revert if there are any other concerns.
I totally get you, it can be super confusing! UVic basically has two main MBA programs—the Daytime MBA and the Weekend MBA. Daytime MBA is full-time, takes around 16 months, good if you wanna finish quick and move on. Weekend MBA is part-time (takes about 24 months), perfect if you wanna work while studying. They also have some cool specializations like entrepreneurship, international business, and sustainable innovation. Hope this helps!
