Is TOEFL really that difficult for someone who’s never studied outside India?

Hey guys, I’ve been hearing a lot about the TOEFL exam. I’ve studied in an English medium school, but I’ve never taken an international test before. Just wondering — is TOEFL difficult for someone like me? What kind of score can I realistically expect?

Honestly, I felt the same way before I took it. It’s not hard if your basics are strong. But the timer can stress you out, especially in the listening and speaking sections  Practice helps big time though.

Yeah, TOEFL is more about getting used to the format than being fluent or anything. If you’re used to reading long passages and writing essays in school, you’ll do fine. Just gotta train your brain for how they ask stuff.
