My daughter is interested in a program which would require her to be on North and South campus. How bad is crime on south campus and in the surrounding area? If she gets in UB would be the most cost effective option, but I am a little concerned about the safety in the area.
Almost all the students reside in the South Campus of UB. The area is safe and will find many Indian Students moving around on the streets. Moreover its cost effective. While choosing the house I would suggest you to check the distance from Main Circle for every house & then finalize it.
On the other hand North campus too have some decent living facilities like Amherst Manor & Triads Apt, but here as well she will have to first take transport & then a short walk to apartment & its a bit expensive too.
