I saw a video talking about how the GMAT changed recently… is it actually easier now? or is that just hype? does anyone know if one has a scoring advantage over the other? tryna understand the gmat scoring pattern and which one makes more sense to prep for.
New GMAT’s called GMAT focus edition I think… it’s shorter, less sections. they removed the essay part and something else too. People say it’s “easier” but honestly it’s just different depending on how you prepare.
Yeah i took a mock of both. tbh the new one feels more chill mentally bc it’s only like 2 hrs somethin. but the scoring is super weird now. like even 615 is good?? so idk if “easy” is the right word, it’s just not the same scale.
