Is the intake for winter 2025/26 over yet?

So I haven’t gotten any admits yet :skull: Two are still on the waiting list, but even if I get one now, visa timing is looking almost impossible.

Is it really the end? Or is there still some hope? Is anyone else in the same situation? Are there unis still rolling out admits or any last-minute options? Feeling super anxious rn. Any advice or positivity would help :folded_hands:

I totally get the stress, and you’re not alone!

It’s NOT over till it’s over! I’ve seen people get admits as late as July/August, and unis like ASU, NJIT, etc. sometimes have rolling admissions or waitlist movement. Also, some unis in Germany, Ireland, and Canada might still be accepting applications!

Even with visa timing: if you get an admit soon, you can opt for emergency or priority visa slots (available in some countries). It’s tight, but possible! Keep checking your portals and emails. And maybe apply to 1-2 unis with later deadlines right now just to be safe.

You’ve got this! Don’t lose hope yet! :glowing_star:

hey @the_mysterious_soul No, it’s not the end yet. Admissions can drag on, and a lot of unis keep rolling out admits till pretty late ’cause people drop offers last minute. Even waitlists move closer to the semester start.

For visas, yeah it can get tight, but not impossible, lots of folks either get priority slots once they have an admit or even defer/join the next intake if needed. You’re def not the only one stuck in this limbo right now.

If you’re anxious, maybe start shortlisting unis that have rolling admissions or Jan/Spring intakes, just so you have a backup. And meanwhile, keep all your docs ready (finances, passport, transcripts) so if an admit does come, you can act fast.

Heyy. Most countries still have rolling or late admission rounds for Fall 2025, and in many cases you can also defer to Spring/January 2026 if visa timelines get too tight. For example, in the USA and Canada, some universities keep giving out admits well into July–August for fall, and many have spring intakes. The UK and Ireland are even more flexible with late offers and visa turnaround times. In Europe (outside Germany), places like the Netherlands, France, and Italy sometimes admit late applicants for fall and also have spring cycles.

So no, it’s not the end. If you’re on waitlists, stay ready with all your documents (financials, IELTS, SOPs, transcripts) so you can move fast. At the same time, explore universities with rolling admissions or spring intakes, and keep deferral in mind as a safety net. Many students feel this crunch every year and still manage either a late admission and visa or just shift by one semester you still have options and time.
