Is part 3 in the IELTS speaking section very important?

I couldn’t answer the last question of part 3 in the IELTS speaking because I got nervous. Will this ruin my whole test?

Don’t panic! One question, even if unanswered, won’t necessarily ruin your entire speaking test. The examiners assess your overall performance across all three parts, looking at things like fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. They understand nerves can happen.

Exactly. They’re looking at the bigger picture. If you did well in the other parts of the speaking test, demonstrating good language skills, that one question won’t be the sole deciding factor. It’s more about your overall communication ability.
