Is a 1 year MBA at Rochester Institute of Technology good for placements?

I am thinking of going for mba in the US after my Bachelor of Science in Economics and International Business from Northeastern University. And learnt that Rochester Institute of Technology mba is just 1 yr… but how’s the placement scene there?? Is it worth it or not??

I did the same MBA from RIT. It’s intense but solid. Career support is actually decent if you are proactive. Lot of people landed jobs in NY, Boston, even some in Chicago. Not like top tier mba level but definitely gets you in the door, esp with ur econ + international business background.

RIT’s more known for tech n design. Business side is growing but not ivy or anything. If u hustle, network hard, u can def get something good. 1 yr means less chill time tho. placements happen fast, like u gotta be on it from day 1.

Hi @Saxena.mayank26
I didn’t pursue an MBA from Saunders, but I did take several courses there—both mandatory and elective. Based on that experience, I’d say Saunders is a solid business school. I completely agree with Amrita: a proactive approach is key. With your background, you should be able to land a job, especially if you stay engaged and make the most of the opportunities available.

My advice would be to consider gaining some work experience before starting your B-school journey—it can really enhance your perspective and make the learning more impactful.
