How to prepare for the GRE Physics Subject Test?

Hey everyone, I’m planning to take the GRE Physics Subject Test in the future, and I’m kinda lost on where to start. What’s the best way to prepare? Are there any good books, online resources, or study techniques that worked for you? Would love to hear from people who’ve taken it or are currently preparing! Also, any tips for balancing prep with regular studies?

I’m in the same boat! From what I’ve heard, the Princeton Review book is decent for an overview, but you gotta supplement it with actual physics textbooks (like Griffiths for E&M, Halliday/Resnick for mechanics). Also, past papers are GOLD. The ETS official ones are a must!

100%! I started with Princeton Review, but it’s not enough. I’d say focus on solving problems rather than just reading theory. And if you’re short on time, prioritize high-yield topics like classical mechanics, E&M, and quantum. Btw, is anyone also preparing for the GRE Biology Subject Test? :eyes:
