Hello Deepika, I can understand your concern because I either belong to a middle class family but still going UK for my masters. As far as, I know I would suggest you a few options which might help you.
- Student loan from SBI because the interest rate is low compare to other banks in India. also for girls SBI provides some discount too.
- Finding that kind the University which will have only 3 days of classes, so you can spend half time at University and simultaneously can get enough time to find/do part time jobs for you so that you can manage your living expenditure.
- Always choose good and reputable University to pursue your studies because it will hold great value on degree ultimately place you at good companies.
- This point is optional, so as you said that you come from middle class family then I would like to suggest you to always surround yourself with hardworking and encouraging people, those who have certain goals in their life to accomplish, why because it will help you stay constant on your goals as well and will never let you to deviate from your aim to backing your family in India.
I hope it will help.
@deepika_3buz You’re definitely not alone. I was in the same place a while ago, and coming from a middle-class family, I know how overwhelming it can feel at first. The good news is, an MBA abroad is absolutely possible if you plan smart and take it step by step.
Start by exploring countries and programs that fit your goals and budget. Places like the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland offer quality education at lower costs, and some have scholarships too. A few Indian B-schools, like IIMs or SP Jain, also offer international exchange or dual-degree MBAs that give you global exposure without spending too much. Most MBA programs will require the GMAT or GRE, and an English test like IELTS or TOEFL. You’ll also need to build a solid profile with decent academics, some work or internship experience, and a well-written Statement of Purpose.
It’s completely fine if you haven’t started yet. Begin with some research and make a simple timeline for exams and applications. Focus on one step at a time. If you’d like, I can help you get started with a basic plan based on where you are right now.
