Guys, I want to make my sofp strong, i am planning to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in UK for Computer science engineering. And I want to write my sop for that, but I don’t really have a lot of extracurricular activity is experience, what are the basic skills that I can learn within short time online to put it on my sop
If you don’t have many extracurriculars, focus on learning a few practical skills that show your interest in Computer Science. You can take short online courses in:
Python or Java programming
Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Data Structures & Algorithms
Basic SQL & Git/GitHub
Try building a small project (like a simple web app) and upload it on GitHub. You can also solve coding challenges on platforms like HackerRank or LeetCode. These show your initiative, problem-solving ability, and real interest in the field. Even one or two good projects with reflection on what you learned can make your SOP strong, even without formal extracurriculars.
