How to get tata scholarship for UG students?

Anyone here knows how to apply for the Tata Cornell scholarship? I’m trying for undergrad in the US and this one came up a lot. If someone who’s gotten it or knows abt it can share how it works or what helps, that’d be great :folded_hands:

Yeah so it’s actually called the Tata scholarship for ug students at Cornell University. Only for indian students and ONLY if you get into Cornell lol. They check financial need so while applying you gotta say you need aid + fill the CSS profile thing. If u don’t do that u won’t be considered.

I had this exact doubt :sob: turns out u don’t apply to the scholarship separately, u just apply to Cornell like normal n request need-based aid. If u fit their need + academic profile, tata steps in. I think they pick around 20 students max?? Crazy competitive.

Guys just saying—don’t sleep on ur essays. I know someone who got shortlisted n they had a very real, no-filter story. not like dramatic or anything but just honest. Also they showed how they wanna use the degree to give back here in india, which tata ppl really like apparently.

If you’re an Indian student seeking undergraduate scholarships in the USA, the Cornell University Tata Scholarship is a prominent opportunity. This scholarship is specifically designed to support Indian students demonstrating financial need who have secured admission to Cornell University.
