thinking of doing MS later and i heard san jose state is a good uni for tech… what are the san jose state university admission requirements for MS? like do i need work experience or something? gpa, exams, anything else?
Not much into work exp tbh, most ppl go straight after undergrad too. u’ll def need a bachelor’s degree, and for international students usually GRE (depends on dept tho) and TOEFL/IELTS scores. GPA ideally 3.0+ on 4.0 scale i think. but check your program page, each one’s diff.
Also you gotta make sure u got all transcripts and stuff ready + statement of purpose. Some courses ask for LORs too. I’m applying for CS and they said they don’t require GRE now but it helps if your GPA is on the lower side. So yeah it depends.
I know someone who got into Data Analytics there. I had like 7.8 CGPA from India and no GRE. But they had some projects + internship. So guessing profile strength > just scores? And deadlines matter too, apply early trust me.
