How important is CGPA when applying to good universities in Ireland?

I am a 7th-semester Computer Science Engineering (CSE) student with a CGPA of 6.5. I am planning to pursue a master’s degree in Computer Science either immediately after graduation or after gaining 1-2 years of work experience.

Based on suggestions, I am now considering Ireland and have some specific questions:
Do all universities in Ireland require the GRE for master’s programs in Computer Science? Do I stand a chance of getting admitted to Irish universities if I apply now? What is the current job market like for tech professionals in Ireland?

Hello,
Most of the universities in Ireland don’t require the GRE for master’s programs in Computer Science. They focus more on your academic performance, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, and English proficiency tests like IELTS or TOEFL.

But what about my CGPA? Do I stand a chance of getting in?

If I am to be honest, a 6.5 CGPA is on the lower side for top universities, but it’s not impossible. Many universities in Ireland consider your overall profile, so if you have relevant internships, projects, or certifications, it can definitely strengthen your application.
