I’m looking at Canadian universities and was wondering how hard it is to get into Concordia University and McMaster University. Like what’s the acceptance rate for both? I’m mainly trying to apply innovative, so like “universities by acceptance rate” is something I’m checking rn. Anyone know more?
Concordia’s not that tough tbh. I think acceptance rate is somewhere like 75-80%. It’s more chill compared to unis like UofT or UBC. Depends on the course too though.
McMaster is way more selective man. I read it’s around 40-50%. And even lower if you’re going for health sci or engineering. They got a solid rep in research n all that.
Yeah fr mcmaster can be tough to crack esp if ur aiming at specific programs. but like they do look at more than just grades, some courses even want a supplementary app
Honestly I’d say apply to both. Concordia’s great if u want a city vibe, it’s in Montreal and they got a good co-op system. Mac’s more academic focused, but more pressure too.
