How easy is it to get scholarships at the University of Victoria, Canada?

Hey guys, I’m looking at the University of Victoria, Canada, for my undergrad, and I was wondering—how generous are they with scholarships for international students? Do they have automatic ones, or do you have to apply separately? Also, are they mostly merit-based or do they consider financial need too? Any insights would be super helpful!

Hey! I looked into this a while back. UVic does offer some automatic entrance scholarships based on grades, but most of the bigger ones require a separate application. They’re mostly merit-based, but there are a few that consider financial need. If your grades are really strong, you’ve got a good shot!

Yup, what @User1 said! Also, check if your country has any special funding partnerships with UVic. Some students get extra scholarships that way. But in general, Canadian universities aren’t as generous as the US when it comes to international scholarships, so keep that in mind. Still worth applying, though!
