How do they consider test-optional applicants?

How does the University at Buffalo consider test-optional applicants? What criteria are used if a student chooses to be test-optional?

Hey @vivannn19,
If you are choosing test-optional then your overall profile along with the SOP, LOR & your professional experience as well as your background studies will be taken into consideration.
Its still better to provide the test results, just to add up to your profile. If you don’t feel confident enough with your result then you can skip it.
Also, the criteria to choose students is a long kept secret, so can’t comment on it further in details.
