I’ve been wondering about this. I’m moving out of state for a PhD program and I was wondering how y’all made friends and stuff. Most of my friends in undergrad came from clubs and orgs, I was wondering if it was a bit different as a grad student.
It isn’t any different in grad school. For MS/MBA, the timelines might be shorter but the blueprint is still the same.
At B-school, the friends I made were either folks I met on the football field, went on hiking trips with, or folks who I met at some internal club/discussion forum.
