I’ve been accepted to NYU through Early Decision 1 and have been regularly checking my scholarship and loan status since submitting both the SBI Global Ed-Vantage loan application and the CSS Profile by their deadlines. Just to give you some details, I completed the SBI loan application process on January 5, 2024, and it was processed by March 16th. The CSS Profile was completed in November and sent to NYU on November 10th. Even though my family’s income is under INR 75 lakhs, making us hopeful for some of NYU’s financial aid programs targeted at international students, my financial aid summary hasn’t changed. I’ve also applied for the JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship and the KC Mahindra Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies Abroad. However, my financial aid portal still shows I owe $87,000. I’ve previously contacted NYU, and they mentioned needing my loan approval details to consider additional financial aid eligibility. However, it’s been a long time with no update. Does anyone have any insights or similar experiences?
