Hey everyone! I’m planning to apply to UK universities for my undergrad, but I heard that some unis don’t even take interviews? Is that true? If yes, which top universities don’t interview at all? Trying to figure out the best approach for my applications. Any insights? Also, any tips on how to apply to UK university smoothly? 
Yup, you heard right! Some UK universities don’t do interviews for undergrad admissions (except for certain courses like medicine). Unis like University of Edinburgh, University of Manchester, and University of Bristol generally don’t interview for most courses. Oxbridge, of course, is a whole different game with super intense interviews. What courses are you looking at?

Exactly! For most courses, they’ll assess you on grades, personal statement, and references (and sometimes tests, like TMUA for Econ at Cambridge). Interviews are mostly for Oxbridge, Medicine, and some really competitive programs. But yeah, for places like Manchester and Bristol, it’s usually a straight-up application process. Focus on making your personal statement

Oh wow, that’s actually a relief . I’m looking at Economics & Business-related courses. So, no interviews at all for those unis? Just based on grades, essays, and recos?
