Does Rice university allow ScoreSelect option for GRE?

What is the accepted GRE score?

Hi @Pooja_gandhi,

You will have to check the particular department website for this information. For the academic year 2021, the GRE score requirement has been waived off. You can still submit it, and it is recommended you submit the scores. But if you’re unable to sit for the test and send the scores, your application will not be rejected.
The average GRE score accepted by the university is 327 and above (167 - Quant, 160 - Verbal, 5.0 - AWA).

How much does a postgraduate degree cost from Rice university?

Are there any scholarships for international students?

My GRE score is 320 and CGPA is 7.75. Will I get into the program? Are there any other universities that I can target with these scores?

Hi @anirudh,
Rice University offers need-based scholarships to incoming international students. You should check the department webpage for information on the aid given to graduate students. Graduate students are also eligible for fellowships and assistantships. These will significantly help reduce tuition fees.
Apart from university scholarships, you can also apply for external scholarships such as KC Mahindra scholarships, GyanDhan Postgraduate scholarships, JN Tata Endowment, etc. Use GyanDhan’s Scholarship Finder for more scholarships.

Hi @Pooja_gandhi,

Your GRE scores are a bit less than the accepted average. However, GRE scores are not the sole criteria for admission. If other aspects of your profile are outstanding, you stand a chance to get admission to your target program. Write stunning SOP, LOR to increase your chances. You can also use GyanDhan’s Admit predictor tool to narrow down your US university list. It will also give suggestions to improve your profile.
If you can mention your target program, I can provide a more specific answer.
Hope this helps!
