Hey everyone! I’m thinking about studying abroad but my budget is pretty tight. I’m mainly considering Canada or Australia. As someone from India, I’m trying to figure out which country would be better for me in terms of cost of living, tuition, part-time jobs, and overall opportunities. What would you guys suggest? Is Canada still worth it even if I have limited finances, or should I look more into Australia?
Totally get where you’re coming from! I was in the same boat last year. Honestly, Canada has great public colleges that are more affordable than unis, and the post-study work visa is pretty solid. You can work part-time during studies and full-time during breaks, which helps with expenses. Plus, there’s a big Indian community which makes settling in a bit easier.
Yeah, and I’d add that some provinces in Canada (like Manitoba or Saskatchewan) have cheaper living costs compared to places like Toronto or Vancouver. If you aim for colleges in those areas, it can be way more manageable financially. Also, a lot of international students share housing to cut down on rent. Just gotta plan smart.
