Can international students get into dental schools in the US?

I wanna become a dentist but not in my country. I’ve been checking online but I’m super confused :sob:. How hard is it to get into a dental school in the US if you’re not from there? Like what are the chances for international admissions, and what do they even look for?

Ok so it’s not easy but def possible :eyes:
Most US dental schools want you to either finish a US undergrad degree or do a few years of college in the US before applying. And almost all require you to take the DAT (dental admission test).
Some schools like NYU, BU, UPenn have international programs but competition is mad high and $$$ too

Yep I’m in the same boat :sob: Also found out you gotta have a strong GPA, do shadowing/internships, and get really good LORs and yeah they’re strict about english tests too like TOEFL. But if u plan it well from now and understand how international admissions work there, it’s doable. Might just take time + money + patience :face_exhaling:
